This sight glass luminaire is designed for mounting on sight glass fittings in universal applications.

It is ideal for illuminating bioreactors, laboratory mixers and filters as well as the interiors of tanks, agitators, separators, pipelines and other, usually closed, vessels in non-explosive operating environments.

It is ideal for use in combined sight and light ports (single-flange version) or arranged separately (two-flange version). The integrated fastening clamp enables convenient mounting on a Lumiglas sight glass wiper assembly SW I.

Compact design; powerful light output:

Glare-free illumination; suitable for use with circular sight glass fittings to DIN 28120 / DIN 28121 or similar, or with screw-type sight glass fittings in compliance with DIN 11851.

Application in chemical, pharmaceutical, biogas and food processing industries:

Protection class: Dust- and waterjet proof, IP 65 according to EN 60 529 / DIN VDE 0470, Part 1

Lumiglas Sight Glass Wiper SW II

The Wiper Type II works great in combination with a spray .

Effective assembly for wiping clean glasses in sight glass fittings DIN 28120 – DN 100 to DN 200

For manually activated cleaning, when required, of inside face of glass in sight ports. Particularly suitable for pressure and vacuum, vessels requiring test certification both in explosion hazardous as well as non hazardous operating areas.

The glass discs fitted into the assemblies correspond to DIN 7080 or DIN 8902 standards.

Suitable for circular sight glass assemblies nominal size DN 100 … DN 200.

Pressure rating same as whole fitting up to 16 bar
All contact parts stainless steel

Manual wiper suited for DIN 28120 style sight glass. Requires threaded bore through sight glass assembly and weld pad.

Temperature: up to 220 C. (depending, however, on type of glass disc used)
316 stainless steel wetted metal parts
Vacuum tight and up to 230 psig
All stainless construction with Teflon or Silicone wiper blade
Sizes: DN Sizes 100 to 200 DIN28120 sight glasses.

Possible combinations:

Simultaneous fittings of Lumistar luminaire, flame proof or standard design, is possible with the wiper SW ll BW, as is the fitting of a spray device

Lumiglas Sight Glass Wiper SW I

A wiper is a great addition to a sight glass, especially when used with a spray ring or spray nozzle.

Simple effective assembly for wiping clean circular sight glass discs
Maximum pressure 6 bar

Vacuum tight; pressure tight to at least 2 bar and, depending on glass diameter, to 6 bar. Max. permissible temperature 220°C (though this depends on glass type used).

Combine with circular sight/light fittings

All contact parts stainless steel, Hastelloy on request

Possible combinations:

Unit can simultaneously be combined with a spray device.
Combination with Lumistar luminaire mounted on the sight glass unit is possible from viewing dia. 125 (DIN 28120, DN 100)
depending on luminaire size (see data sheet download below).
Lumistar luminaire series USL and ESL can also be combined with the unit.
With screwed sight glass assemblies combination with Lumistar luminaire SLM or Lumistar ME is possible with size DN 125.
Also available with ratchet-drive lever.
