This sight glass luminaire is designed for universal applications and is ideal either in combined sight and light ports (single-flange version) or for separate ports (two-flange version).
Glare-free illumination; fits circular sight glass fittings to DIN 28120/DIN 28121 or similar, screw-type sight glass fittings in compliance with DIN 11851, as well as visual flow indicator fittings.
For illuminating the interiors of vessels, tanks, agitators, silos and other generally closed containers and reactors and also in visual flow indicators.

The luminaire is mounted with the lamp attachment on the cover flange in the case of circular sight glass fittings and visual flow indicators. With screw-type sight glass fittings, the luminaire is fastened to the slotted nut.
Please note that the halogen bulb 230 V – 75 Watt is no longer available.

This LIGHT is the world’s brightest sight glass luminaire: LED luminaire is four times brighter than a typical sight glass light, offering an unprecedented view of processes. Ultra-bright LED provides 3000 lumens at full brightness, four times the light output than a typical 100-Watt halogen light. The total internal reflection (TIR) lens with 23-degree beam angle, is ideal for vessel illumination through a sight glass with maximum light output and less than 5% loss of light output. The light is capable of continuous operation and emits cool white, 5500K color temperature, optimized for stainless steel vessels. The light is designed for cool operation equipped with temperature-based current limiting and automatic dimming; over temperature shutdown. The LEDs have a long service life and are vibration and impact resistant. No heat radiation is directed into the process vessel (cold light output). Push-button: Luminaires with a wattage of 50 W and more should only be operated by push-button (not in continuous mode). Should an integrated push-button not be included in the order/ scope of supply, it is essential for an external momentary-contact push-button or a timer to be installed in the power supply line, outside the luminaire! Under no circumstances should the maximum temperatures specified for the luminaire be exceeded.
Mounting Options:
Secure to sightport flange with stainless steel bracket or mount directly to a Sanitary (e.g. Tri-Clamp® ferrule or NA-Connect® ) fitting for sterile applications.
